WordPress maintenance and security, month after month
Our WordPress maintenance is monthly care: we update WordPress, the theme and plugins after testing them on a staging copy, keep backups, protect and monitor the site, and respond within the agreed time. You run your business; we keep the site’s engines in order.

Plans are monthly; what drives the price is below and on how much a website costs.
Who it is for
-
Companies that want the site to simply work, without tracking updates and warnings themselves.
-
Online stores, where an hour with the site down is an hour without orders.
-
Sites with bookings, syncs or a link to stock software that need watching.
-
Sites we didn’t build. We start with a review and tell you what we find.
Why maintenance matters
Your website is your shop window, and launch day is the start, not the end. Four reasons not to leave it alone:
- Visitors stay. Broken links, slow pages and stale content drive people away. Regular checks catch them before your customers do.
- Security. Bots probe for known holes day and night. Timely updates close them before anyone gets in, and a hacked site costs data, reputation and money.
- You save time and money. A small problem caught early is cheap. A neglected site leads to an expensive repair, or a redesign sooner than you’d planned.
- Search rankings hold. Slow, broken or infected sites lose visibility. A maintained site keeps what it has earned.
What you get

-
Updates to WordPress, WooCommerce, the theme and plugins: first on a staging copy, then on the live site.

Small changes to text and images, as your plan allows.
-
Emergency help within the agreed response time, including cleaning up a hacked site.

What it costs
The cost of maintenance depends on the type of site (company site, store, bookings), the plugins and integrations, the response time and the hours for changes. So care is agreed per site: what it covers and what it costs come in a quote after a short call.
How we price our work: how much does a website cost?
Questions
How much does WordPress maintenance cost?
It depends on the type of site, the plugins and integrations, the response time and the hours for changes. Looking after an online store usually costs more than a company website, because there is more to check. The exact figure is quoted after a short call.
Do you maintain sites you didn't build?
Yes, after an initial review. We tell you what we find: outdated plugins, missing backups, risks. Sometimes we recommend removing or replacing a plugin before we take the site on.
What should I do if my WordPress site has been hacked?
Don't delete anything: the traces help find the way in. Change the passwords for the admin, the hosting and email, then call us. We clean the site, close the hole, rotate the keys and look for hidden files and links.
What happens if an update breaks something?
Only updates that have passed on the staging copy reach the live site. If something still goes wrong, we restore the last backup or the previous version and look for the cause separately.
Who hosts the site?
We help you choose hosting that suits the site and we set it up. We recommend that the hosting account is in your name.
Are content changes included?
It depends on the plan: some plans can include hours for small text and image changes. New pages and features are quoted separately.
