# About us: a small crew for long missions

Small crew, long missions. We take on few projects and stay with them.

K!K!Design is a boutique web development studio. We build made-to-measure websites, online shops and booking engines for companies of every size.

Our team is small: developers and content writers with many years of experience, led by the founder. We work from Sofia and Veliko Tarnovo, with clients across the whole of Bulgaria.

## The founder

The founder works on every project: from the first call, through the plan and the code, to launch and care. So when you write to us, the reply comes from someone who knows your project.

## How we got here

Before we started K!K!Design, the people on our team worked on many projects and learnt what makes a website succeed.

We realised we wanted to offer something personal: a site made to measure for each client’s needs, instead of an off-the-shelf package. We keep up with how web technology and search are changing, so we can help our partners reach their goals.

That is how we arrived at the way we work today: few projects at a time, our own code and long relationships with clients.

## How the crew works

Choosing a web development studio can be hard. We try to make it simple and stress-free.

- **Every business is different.** We start from your goals and your customers, not from a template, and work closely with you until the site delivers.
- **Few projects at a time.** Every client gets the attention we promise, and the details don’t get lost.
- **You talk to the person doing the work.** No account managers, no passing you between departments.
- **Fast, without cutting corners.** The deadline is in the plan from week one, and before launch every site is checked for speed, accessibility and SEO.
- **We’re there when you need us.** We answer your questions during the project and long after it.

## What we value

- **Measured, not promised.** We publish Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals results for our clients’ sites instead of writing “fast website”.
- **Accessible by default.** WCAG 2.2 AA is how we write the code of every new site, not an add-on at the end.
- **Plain language.** We explain without jargon and publish what drives the price.
- **Our own code.** Our own themes and few plugins: a site that loads fast and that you control.

## Why space?

We’re passionate about our clients’ success. We believe every website should tell a story. That’s why we created a space-themed design, to convey the idea that there are no limits to what we can achieve for our clients.

Today our space is calmer and more precise: observatories and mission control instead of cartoon rockets. Projects are missions with a log and telemetry, services are hardware, and each exclamation mark in our name is a planet above a launch path.
